Charter Member Terms

White Umbrella Technologies Inc. Effective date: October 5, 2026 · Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Charter Member Terms describe the privileges of White Umbrella's first guests ("Charter members") and how they are earned. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Becoming a Charter member

  • Charter membership is by invitation. We review early-access requests personally and invite a limited number of guests before public launch.
  • Charter status belongs to one account. An account may be a personal account, a family account (up to six people) or a corporate account.
  • Charter status is personal, non-transferable and has no cash value.

2. Privileges

| Privilege | Details | |---|---| | Membership from day one | White Umbrella membership is normally earned after 15 completed journeys. Charter members receive membership from their first completed journey. | | Priority on peak dates | When demand exceeds available chauffeurs, requests from Charter members are confirmed first, subject to availability. | | Your preferred chauffeur | You may request a preferred chauffeur. We honor the request when that chauffeur is available and accepts the journey. | | Family account | Up to six people may travel under one account and one payment method. The account holder is responsible for journeys booked on the account. | | Monthly invoicing | Available to corporate accounts, subject to approval. | | Trackable luggage tag | After your tenth completed journey, we send you a White Umbrella trackable luggage tag (see section 4). | | Invitations | Each Charter member may invite three people (see section 5). |

Privileges are recognition, not discounts: they do not reduce the price of journeys unless we say so in writing.

3. How journeys are counted

  • A journey is a completed and paid ride booked through White Umbrella.
  • Family accounts: journeys by everyone on the account count toward the account.
  • Corporate accounts: journeys count toward the corporate account, not toward individual travelers, unless agreed otherwise.
  • Chauffeur for a day / hourly bookings count as one journey regardless of duration.
  • Cancelled journeys, no-shows and refunded journeys do not count. If a journey is refunded after it was counted, it is removed from the count.
  • Your journey count does not expire while your account is in good standing.

4. Trackable luggage tag

  • One tag per account, sent after the tenth completed journey to a US shipping address you provide.
  • The tag is White Umbrella branded. Tracking works through the phone ecosystem supported by the tag model we issue; we will tell you which before shipping. The tag may include an NFC chip that opens your account.
  • If a specific model is unavailable, we may substitute an item of equal or greater value.
  • Replacement of a lost or damaged tag is at our discretion.

5. Invitations

  • Each Charter member receives three personal invitations. We may grant additional invitations from time to time.
  • Invited requests are reviewed first; an invitation does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Invitations may not be sold, auctioned or posted publicly for mass use. Please share them only with people you know. We never send messages to the people you invite unless they contact us first.

6. Changes and ending the program

We may change or end these privileges with at least 30 days' notice by email. Privileges already earned (for example, a luggage tag owed after a tenth journey completed before the change) will be honored. We may suspend or remove Charter status for fraud, abuse, unsafe behavior toward chauffeurs, or repeated no-shows.
